Nominating a Person/Group for Gray's Volunteerism Awards

Each year, Gray recognizes and celebrates the folks who are the backbone of the community – our dedicated volunteers.  Our volunteers truly define the spirit of Gray and enhance our community in otherwise untold service. The Gray Town Council encourages and welcomes nominations from Gray citizens who wish to recognize other community members for their volunteer contributions as they relate to the five categories of awards.  An awards reception in the summer will honor the winners. To learn more about nominations for the Town of Gray's various volunteerism awards, please visit our Nomination page.

The Town of Gray recently hosted a leadership academy for those serving on Gray boards and committees. This event was an informational summit that served to help volunteers prepare for public service on their respective committees/boards. The event featured overviews of what each committee/board does and who its members are, as well as the Town's lawyer, Alyssa Tibbetts, who discussed FOAA policies. You can view that video here, or via the embed below.
