Senior Property Tax Assistance Program (Updated)

You MAY be eligible for a property tax payment of up to $500.
The purpose of the Senior Property Tax Assistance Program is to provide property tax assistance to persons sixty-five (65) years of age and over who reside in the Town of Gray. Under this program, the Town of Gray will provide assistance to those individuals who maintain a homestead in the Town of Gray and meet the criteria established by this article.
If you:
- are at least sixty-five (65) years old at the time of application.
- have a homestead (owned or rented) in Gray that you have lived in for the entire year prior to application
- have been a resident of Gray for at least the last ten (10) years
- own no other property at time of application
- have an annual adjusted gross income of less than $56,350
The maximum benefit is $500 but may be less depending on your actual property taxes and your annual household income.
